"Lovely villa, with an amazing pool and in the perfect location - close to beach and restaurants. The town of Marina Di Ragusa is very Italian and very family orientated. We had a very relaxing week and Carmelo was kind enough to recommend and book a local restaurant for us, and the food was delicious! We can highly recommend this villa and Sicily in general. "Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

"We had a wonderful time - the bedrooms are all spacious and well appointed and location very peaceful. You need a car as there is nothing within walking distance and the bigger towns are at least 45 min drive but easy to access as are the lovely beaches with their fish restaurants. The owners were fantastic in dealing with any issues - we didn’t hear anything from the agent manager at all during our stay. "We stayed in July with a group of 32- friends and their teenage children. The villa is stunning, in a quiet rural location only minutes to the sea and Ragusa itself. "We stayed a week in this lovely house. The house is spacious and kitchen is very well equipped. Garden / terrace space is pretty, comfortable and well shaded. House is located on a quiet street off the main road and has plenty of parking space. Nearest beach is 7-8 minutes walk away but it’s worth using the car to explore the numerous other beaches in the area. Stefano and family were great hosts and helpful with questions / recommendations etc."

"Elio welcomed us with a magnificent spread of local delicacies and a bottle of wine. The villa itself is comfortable, well laid out and well decorated. Lovely pool and many different areas of the garden to enjoy. Of special note is the BBQ area, tucked away down steps to a lower part of the garden. A great place to while away the evening."

"A very helpful and friendly host. The accommodation is in need of uprading. The external furniture was of poor quality plastic or old wood without any pads. There were no parasols. The waste disposal arrangements are inadequate. Air conditioning should be installed upstairs as a minimum. The steps up to the town are overgrown and totally unlit. This is not Lucio's fault but he should accurately describe the situation. The property has great potential. Lucio is a superb host"
