"First off, for some reason I thought this was a fancy new home from the listing, but actually it's an older home with some recent freshening up. Everything was clean, e.g. linens, towels, carpet, counters, but there were a few minor scuffs on walls and a little bit of mold in the shower. The house is on the lake with a nice view and backyard. "We really enjoyed our stay. The home was incredibly clean and really cozy, the hot tub was great in the evening after going down to the lake for a swim, even took the kayaks provided out which was fun. Beautiful location and really lovely host. Definitely would come back here :) "

"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"We had a lovely stay. The stairs were a problem with prams. And garage was very tight but so easy to stroll straight across the road to the beach also bus stop out side the building The beds were comfy and having the washing machine was a bonus all the rooms had a balcony and fans in all the rooms which was great as we had the best weather for two weeks over all it was a great stay "
