"Great communication before our stay. Such a beautiful place in Paradise valley. Lovely property with garden surrounding, the rooms are clean, well equipped and modern. Close enough to Rotarua for trips in and shopping, but isolated enough to feel like you’re off grid. Amazing - we loved it. Thank you Heather. Recommend the Wai Ariki hot springs and spa as well - Restorative journey - pure luxury - we were on our own there in the evening. "

"We were three couples staying for several days. The house was situated near the lake with beautiful views. The architecture is beautiful and spacious and kept us comfortable and warm with a gas log fire heater. All amenities were high quality and available. The bedroom was large and offered bath robes which was appreciated. The location is on the opposite side of the lake in reference to te puia ect so very little smell on our stay. "The hotel is in a great spot close to the beaches and cafes. The unit we were allocated was right on a busy road and is quite dated. The furnishings need a refresh. The pool was closed. I used the gym , which was ok. Parking is safe and adequate. "

"This place is probably more a Motel rather than Hotel however dont let that deter you away from it. This was one of the better experiences I have stayed in when it comes to room comfort and staff accommodation. Check in was easy, everything was explained, the room was clean, bed soft, the lights were awesome and had really thought out features, aircon, tea, coffee, mini fridge. It was spacious and super well taken care of. The only issue I had was the continental breakfast, I just wish there were more options to choose from, but it was free with VIP so not much to complain about. Oh and soundproofing, I could hear my neighbours both sideways and above me, but at 9pm onwards, quiet. Would stay again :)"
