"5 Stars! We were extremely happy with our stay - there was a lovely outdoor area with games, picnic tables and BBQ, ample parking, great location to the Mount but also close to the beach. Facilities were clean and tidy, with everything we needed. The owners and staff are absolutely lovely and very accommodating. We can’t wait to come back and visit next summer! "

"The facilities could use a little refresh but are spacious for a family of four (including teenagers). All clean and tidy. We didn't manage to book a room with a private pool but the swimming pool was a pleasant surprise (and heated!). Location is great but traffic can be noisy at times. What really makes this place stand out is the staff - everyone we encountered was always smiling, professional, cheerful and willing to help! Perfect for a last minute booking - we will be back."

"My son and I stayed at the Tower Road Motel for one night. The room was really clean and comfortable. It was a quiet place to sleep and easy to get to the sites around Matamata. The owner was really friendly and accommodated our early arrival. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. "

"The owners were wonderful and were very accommodating. They provided a chair for me to use at the cricket free of charge and ensured that I had a great stay. Is a great location with shops and beach nearby, as well as the mount. Plenty of stuff to do over a couple of days there, will definitely stay again there if i come to Tauranga"

"What a great place! Loved petting the farm animals on the property with Alpacas and Sheep. They have an onsite laundry and a fully equipped kitchen as well. "

"We really like the apartment style rooms, so we could feel like home from home and eat/cook there if we wanted to. Very relaxed and friendly feel to the place and convenient to local shops, parks and walks. It's a 5-minute drive to Mt Maunganui with beautiful beaches and lots of restaurants too."

"The property was older and was only up to date in the kitchen and bathroom. The surrounding area was somewhat messy and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were no services provided aside of clean towels. The laundry area was very messy. "

"As a first time customer, I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were nice, friendly and accommodating. Daily servicing of my room was excellent. Everything was great. On our last night, there was confusion over the outside “Spritz” bar. And it was the same for many customers. I’d approached the bar for a Coke Zero and was told the bar wasn’t open until 5pm (it was 5:08pm) and to only order from the Spritz bar. I did so but was told only what was there, would be available. The bartender at the spritz bar then approached the same bartender I’d asked earlier if it was possible to order one and was rudely told to “yes” and then shooed away. He was just as confused. But then other customers could order from the second bartender at the bar immediately. Was very confusing. It wasn’t busy by typical bar standards but clarification is needed there. Cheers."

"We had a wonderful stay at Quest. When we accidentally forgot our room key, the staff was incredibly friendly and quick to assist us, making the situation so much easier. We also really appreciated having access to a washing machine and dryer during our stay – such a convenient bonus. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free experience. Highly recommend!"
