"Great location and cracking value. Lovely room with everything you needed. The only thing which was not 5 stars was the physical location of the breakfast hall and the quality of the food and service on offer. However this is really a minor issue for the price paid. The fact that the breakfast is served in the college 1 minute's walk away is stated on the website."

"Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. There website needs updating urgently because directions to the hotel are wrong and confusing. There also needs to be a direct number to the Stag because at the moment if you phone the number on the website it puts you through to a hotel in Bournemouth where staff cannot help you or give you information about directions or any other help."

" Once again had a pleasant overnight stay at Balham Lodge. I was a returning customer. The decor is fresh and attractively decorated and both my room and the reception areas were spotlessly clean. Altogether it makes for a comfortable stay."

"I enjoyed my stay at Primrose Guest House very much because it gave me the feeling of being at home. Everything I needed (plenty of space in wardrobe to hang all my clothes, iron and ironing board, outdoor shoe container, luggage rack, full length mirror, shelves in bathroom cabinet, a choice of pillows, comfortable comforter, a garden view) was arranged compactly in my small room. "Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. "When we arrived, Max was so welcoming and we lucked out with our room already being ready. Our room had everything we needed and we had a great view of the river and bridges. This hotel is in a terrific location to get to Borough Market, St.Pauls cathedral, Sky Garden, Horizon 22 and Tower Bridge just to name a few places. I would highly recommend this hotel."
