"This is an adults-only property. I booked this in haste without learning this piece of information, which was entirely my fault. The owners were very gracious about handling my mistake and I'm grateful to them. It's a lovely location with great facilities. If you're looking for adults-only lodging you should definitely stay here. If that's NOT what you're looking for, please be smarter than me and stay someplace else."

"Our family had an amazing spring break overnight at Sea Gate in Vieques, Puerto Rico, and I highly recommend it! From the start, owner Kelly was incredibly communicative, making sure everything was set up perfectly for our arrival and offering great local tips. The staff was warm and welcoming, always eager to assist with any requests, which made us feel truly at home. The hotel was incredibly accommodating, offering spacious rooms and thoughtful amenities that made our stay so relaxing, especially with young kids. The peaceful atmosphere and prime location close to amenities and ferry terminal made it the perfect family base."

"The resort is beautiful. The infinity pool and beachfront are gorgeous! We loved being able to walk on the beach and swim in the pool 24 hours a day! We were only there for 1 night and would like to come back in the future. Lilliam, our host/receptionist, is truly a gem at this resort! She was friendly, helpful, and allowed us to use the amenities before check-in and that made all the difference for us since we did not have our own transportation. Flexibility was much appreciated. She also helped us get transportation at check-out when our other drivers fell through. Thank you so much Lilliam! Restaurant, bar, and staff were not what we expected and need to be improved to provide an exceptional FULL-resort quality experience. More servers, faster service, higher quality food needed to make this resort experience better! Rooms were nice. Beds comfortable. Some much needed renovations could make it even better. "

"Tips: You have to take a ferry to the beach. It's beautiful and actually enjoyable. However, if you stay late, the last ferry leaves at 5:00. If you want to get off the beach at a decent time, get in line for the ferry not long after 4:00. Also, book dinner early in the day through the concierge. We only had a problem one night, but that was only for one restaurant and there were other options that worked well. And nothing to do with the resort, but BOOK YOUR BIO BAY TOUR BEFORE YOUR TRIP! They fill up fast. Also, Viejo San Juan (an hour from the resort by taxi) is well worth the trip just to see the Castillo San Felipe del Morro. "

"Casa de Tortuga was just charming-- from the open-air office to the sweet pool area to the magical lighting effects throughout the property at night. It fit our budget and provided a surprising amount of amenities in the room. We enjoyed meeting the colorful proprietor and creator of this retreat,Skip, and we appreciate all the behind-the-scenes hard work that goes into welcoming visitors to this special part of Puerto Rico."

"Was wonderful the whole trip la casita village. The Staff was amazing from the ferry, water park, female bar tender from palomino, young guy from from the bar upstairs, restaurants my oldest daughter enjoy her birthday stay. The little village jacuzzi was not working so we have to go at conquistador jacuzzi that was always packed with children with out parents supervision need staff to supervise this areas. The only thing they have to explain in details the hidden charges fees upfront of our stay then mentioning until the last day at the front desk. The charges was per night fee is $125 plus taxes beside our hotel charges should explain in detail of the booking or front desk at the first day that will help my family spend wisely of our stay for the food spending. "
