Also there’s nothing around the hotel and you’re ‘hostage’ of the hotel restaurant which sells considerably overpriced things. If they invested a bit more on the hotel surroundings and also offered more options at the hotel, like a spa for example, it would make the place a lot more attractive. "Balai is stunning and clean, I stayed here as a way to unwind after a 2 week trip and it was absolutely the right decision. Balai gives a chance to unwind alone and everything is preplanned once you ask, for instance, the sauna and spa is booked an hour at a time so no one needs to share. The amenities offered in the rooms are excellent. The facilities are clean and nothing suggested is too much. The food options were good too. Highly recommend for a retreat type feel."
