"This was a new building with an outdoor pool. We could use the indoor pool in the old building on the same property. The the room was lovely. We slept really well. The breakfast faire was okay, though not too hot. The attendants were very attentive, and ready to help. This hotel felt safe, and it was in a quiet, yet convenient location. "Overall, I had an excellent experience staying at Residency Inn Pittsburgh Oakland. I stayed there for a week, and the room was very well-appointed and comfortable. I especially liked the kitchenette with refrigerator, two burner stove top, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. It was nice to be able to cook a quick meal at your convenience. The hospital is a quick five-minute walk from a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and the University of Pittsburgh campus."
