"Overall very clean and nice and we enjoyed our stay. A few things could be improved like the outdoor furniture, doors that have loose handles or are difficult to close or keep closed, and a toilet that the handle needs jiggled to stop running, but nothing was more than an annoyance."

"Was in a perfect location for attending the Texas Renaissance Festival! The property was well kept and comfortable. Those recliners were incredible. Plan to stay again next year for sure!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Getting up to seeing the ducks on the pond, and no worries during our stay. We will be back next year. All of us agree it is rustic but is 100% above the rowdy, crazy rustic at TRF."

"Very nice ranch, loved the set up of the cabin…a bit cold (comforter very thin) but not horrible! However, upon arriving I was not greeted or treated as a welcomed customer. I was two steps away from my car when the employee came out and asked my name, and told me the code to my cabin. It was a weird greeting but nonetheless it wasn’t a big deal until my coworker told me about her greeting upon arrival. "We loved this peaceful, quiet old home. I would love to know the history of this home and could be a nice addition to leave in the home for the visitors. Although we had no kids on this trip, it has plenty of room and can accommodate large families with kids. Everyone had their own private bathroom. The pool and hot tub is surrounded by fields of wild flowers. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. Two washers and dryers and Two refrigerators. Has an iron and clothes steamer which was handy for the wedding we attended. The only thing we needed and missed was a tea kettle as we are a family that drinks hot tea, but we just boiled water in a pot on the stove. If we ever came back to Texas we would stay here again with a large family. Thank you for sharing your home. "
