"One of Portofino’s finest hotels. Our private, luxurious, high-ceiling, large room with a balcony overlooking the sea was a total treat. A fairy tale. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us. We hope to return one summer to take advantage of the hotels own private beach. "

"Rommet vi fikk fungerte ikke som lovet og til tross for at vi hadde leid tre netter flyttet vi etter en natt og bestilte nytt hotell i samråd med hotelleier og hotels.com. Men det endte med at hotellet ikke betalte tilbake de to nettene og hotels.com svarte ikke på skriftlig klage til ledelsen. Vi endte opp med å betale for to hoteller de siste to nettene. Skikkelig elendig opplevelse. Så uproft."

"This was a great place for my wife and I on our honeymoon. It was very special to be in the middle of the square. My only complaint was that the neighbors above were a bit noisy, but it didn’t inhibit our enjoyment. Note that there is no AC and no elevator to the room, but this was not a problem for us. "

"Can't imagine a better location within Portofino. Directly at the harbor and once down the stairs, right in the middle of things. The apartment is not high end however, not in poor condition, either. Frankly, it was exactly as described and we had a great, albeit too short of stay. The only thing I want to add is that getting to the third floor apartment, up extraordinarily steep and very narrow stairs can be a daunting task.
