"My husband and I stayed in October of '24 and the hotel was absolutely gorgeous with amazing views. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with the most delicious omelet and croissants of the trip. Parking was amazing and the staff service impeccable. Would HIGHLY recommend."

"Bigatt is the nicest surprise I have ever had for a hotel stay. The staff, the fresh and clean atmosphere, the pool (swimming outdoors in the alps on Halloween was not expected), the dinner made from a fresh on the grounds garden, the house wine also made on the grounds, the stunning views of Lugano, and also the story of the place all make it a rare find while traveling. Bigatt is the real deal for hospitality and stay here if can. I will try to be back some day. "

Great choice

"Good hotel, convenient; very kind friendly staff. It is dated so we did not have hot water first night. The rooms decor is old but okay. Spacious enough. The AC does not turn on because it is cooler times, no choice but need to open the semi balcony door for cool air / circulation however bugs will come in. Had to clip the curtain together with hair clip and spray curtain with bug spray to prevent bugs from entering. Have to close doors by dawn to stop ferry noises, or mum the public’s chit chatting voices. The piano bar is classy when someone is playing. The pool is semi warm, swimmable for sure. Short walk to town square. "

Delightful

"Such a lovely place to stay with a courtyard for off-road parking. The Italian owner helpfully spoke good English. He said he also spoke other languages as well. It is right on the edge of the lake and the front rooms have a view over the lake and the back rooms have a delightful view of the mountainside and over look a courtyard with typical Italian buildings. The owner and his wife were lovely, warm, helpful and hospitable. The rooms have what you need and the bed was comfortable. Opposite the hotel is a small outdoor public swimming pool and you can also swim in the lake but I'm not sure where. There are a couple of cafes/eateries near in addition to the Caffe itself which has indoor and outdoor seating and served a wonderful continental breakfast which was inclusive, of brioche, bread, egg, cheese and salami, juice and coffee. We also had lunch with a simple but delicious home cooked typical Italian food using fresh local ingredients. "
