"Hotel was spotless, really clean, comfortable and a cosy warm bedroom. Breakfast was delicious, and staff were all very friendly and polite. Nice walk into town, however bit of a hike back, as it’s all up hill. Didn’t put us off, and would definitely recommend and book again"

The room was very nice with everything that you could need, great tea tray, lovely toiletries etc. very comfortable bed, good lighting and a nice hot shower. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking too and in a great location for walking to both Bowness and Windermere. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative issue was a thoughtless guest on our final night who played the TV very loudly and had no regard for other guests."
