"We loved it here! The communication was top notch, they handled our dinner bookings and had the most beautiful view from their Infiniti pool! Rooms were clean and gorgeous and a short drive from Bellagio! The chef was sick unfortunately however breakfast each morning was far more than we have grown to expect in our travels! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway! "

"Property pictures was not the actual photos of the hotel. Rooms were above a bar on a noisy street. Bedroom didn’t have darking curtain's only a sheers which didn’t block the morning light. Bathroom sink was plugged with hair. Room was cheap and convenient to University and bus route downtown. "

"What a gem!! Bergamo was a half-hearted, 1-day visit we added to our trip since we were flying into Milan in the evening & yet we were SO pleasantly surprised! The old town, which is walking distance from La Valleta, is beautiful with a nice handful of shops & restaurants. La Valleta is a lovely hillside Villa with a small handful of rooms & very nice & kind proprietors. But what really stands out is their breakfast! "The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building. A nice courtyard is hidden behind a metal entrance door. Matteo and his brother are extremely nice hosts, who can provide enthusiastic advice on sightseeing in Milan.
