"The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures; equipped with everything that you would find in your own kitchen, too. The views were stunning as well. What made this an even more outstanding experience was the hosts who were extremely helpful and responsive; it felt like family was looking after us. Definitely recoomend it!!"

"The location is beautiful. Yes: You will hike up and down but you will love the space, the view, the cleanliness. The friendliness of the man who checked us in and the accommodation of an earlier check-in. The water pressure in the shower and the inability for it to get truly hot are our only real concerns. I imagine the hosts will work on this."

Very close to the seaside, 5 minutes to Plaza Madeira, big shopping center where you can get all you need. Ana is very responsive to any queries and helpful. "Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. Vitor assisted us with baggage to and from the rental. Three minute walk uphill from the street parking, as noted in their VRBO ad. Would stay here again "

Only possible negative deoending on what you want is the outdoor space is next to a busy weekday road. That said you have buses to the town centre close by. "We stood with friends and family in the Casa Reizinho. The host is super friendly. They provided us with a lot of information and showed our kids all the animals that are around. The small city is very cute and with the bar next to house we had access to our daily sundowner “poncha”. The house has a lot of places to have dinner outside. The bbq has been used everyday by us. Only the shower in one of the bathroom is loosing water to the floor. The rest is perfect. When coming back to the island...

"We, 2 adults and 2 kids, had the great pleasure to stay from 26th of June until 4th of July . Beautiful property with a gorgeous view panorama to Funchal and also from balconies the Atlantic Ocean. "Perfect for just the two of us. Tastefully decorated and very roomy. Off the beaten tourist track which suited us down to the ground. Another couple staying with us, though, would've presented bathroom difficulties. Steep flight of stairs to bedrooms could be tricky for anyone with mobility problems. "A great 3 night stay. We loved the location - super views but very easy to walk into the town to explore! We were able to park our car on site too which was a real bonus. Our room was clean comfortable and we had a lovely view of the port. We enjoyed the pool and terrace on our last day. One suggestion and that's for more information to be given on the Spa facilities. We thought they were great but sadly only found out about them at the very end of our stay. I have to mention the breakfast buffet. It was amazing. So much choice, catering for all tastes with great staff too If we returned to Funchal we would definitely stay here. "
