"We travelled in the off season (early March) and really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a garden view and it was perfect. We strolled through every pathway in the property and for a flower/garden/rose lover it would be absolutely amazing in the summer when everything is in bloom. Our check-in greeting and encounters with staff were always polite and cheerful and breakfast was perfect every morning. We would happily stay here again."

"Charming villa well located within minutes of the town. You do need a car to get there and parking on the street is easy. Rooms were comfortable and shared bathrooms were cleaned often. "Amazing view especially at night. Pool is so lovely but a lil chilly in winter, great to practice some singing & swimming if a little cold. Also a great view with pool. "Wonderful location, run by genuinely lovely people. We took the self catering apartment option and it suited us down to the ground. Slightly remote if you are not fully mobile. We did not want to hire a car, so used taxis a lot. We were given a driver's number and received excellent service. There is a handy bus service into Funchal."

"You won’t regret staying here! One of the best beds I’ve slept while traveling. Full kitchen. Access to washer and dryer. It felt great to get out of Funchal and be somewhere more ‘relaxing.’ With that said, you still have access to restaurants / market, etc. Additionally, there is so much to do in the area. Highly recommend this place."

"The house makes a good impression on the first sight and was perfectly clean. But the kitchen equipment was lacking basics like bread knife (provided on request), a sieve or sufficient amount of bowls. At the stove only 3 of 5 plates worked. Both showers were flooding the bathrooms every time. Sleep was interrupted each night several times by barking dogs in the neighborhood (really noisy) and in two sleeping rooms darkening was not possible. The renting agency and craftsmen entered the house...

"We stayed in the this property for 10 days. An Apartman was very clean and modern with his own wifi. Manuel was around to offer any help making sure we have everything. There is also washmashine available to use during the day. We really enjoyed aour stay!"
