"We loved our stay in Salida, being just steps away from the shops and restaurants was a huge plus. The host allowed us to check in early and the house was spotless. They even had a NES for the kids to play when we came in for the night. I think it deserves five stars however I will say that we had some trouble with the shower draining. The host took care of it quickly but even after it was fixed the shower is not very good. Just low pressure. Also wish it had a washer dryer. Again though...

"We have stayed in this house at least 3-4 times over the past two years, when we come to ski Monarch. It is always perfectly clean, cozy, and comfortable, with everything we need. The fenced back yard is lovely for our dog, and the park across the street is our kiddo's favorite. We'll keep coming back!"

"Great location very close to everything. Very walkable to lots of nice restaurants and pubs. The vic was a short walk and very fun. Felt very safe. The courtyard was very nice. grass back yard and with a lovely hot tub that was definitely a highlight of the place. The kitchen was lovely although we did not cook as we were there for just two nights. The livingroom nook was cute and cozy with a nice big TV. Never heard any noises from the duplex neighbours so that was nice. Lovely and convenient...

"The Taylor House wa a perfect getaway for our ski weekend. The house has plenty of space and beds. The location couldn't be closer to Monarch Mountain. Marilyn was an attentive host before and during our stay. We highly recommend this property. "
