"The Hotel is located just close enough to access the city centre - a taxi ride was £11 late at night. The hotel is very clean and the rooms comforatble, tidy, clean and well maintained. For me, the highlight was the staff. They were amazingly friendly including the cleaners who are not as customer facing as other staff. The reception and bar staff were friendly and attentive and the manager greeted everyone in the reception in the morning - when was the last time I ever saw that? Well done....

"The pictures that are used for single rooms at Emerald House don't do them justice. The room I had contained a mini-fridge, kettle, hairdryer, sink and enough encroutements for both cleaning and drinking and a small TV on an extendable arm, allowing for some background noise whilst chilling. Location wise I needed something close to both the city centre and also the university and this met both needs.
