"We loved staying at the Opera Suites. It is a separate apartment from the main hotel, Hotel Sonya, which is a short walk down the street. We liked feeling like we had our own apartment. We could hear the opera singers practicing out our open window on the day of the opera which we had come to see. It was magnificent. This place is very close to the metro station and very convenient to many restaurants, pharmacy, grocery stores. The management at Hotel Sonya was very welcoming and spoke English....

"This is really a rooming establishment without a restaurant or breakfast service. It's comfortable, clean, quiet, and conveniently located, but there's no reception desk and little possibility for contact with staff unless by phone. Though excellent in some ways, it is limited in others. for this reason, it seems overpriced. "

"We were first given a room on the left of the reception that had no window but a balcony that opened to nothing, we asked for a room on the right side with a window and it was perfect! Great location with a mini market across the street and cafes/ dining options. Easy walk to landmarks. Continental breakfast was served to our room at our chosen time, which was nice. Staff is great!!!"

"The hotel Relais Donna Lucezia is a delightful boutique hotel with 8 rooms. The rooms are large, well-furnished and come with all sorts of extras. Delightful snacks are available 24/7. A complementary bottle of wine greats all guests. The manager/cook/concierage is Nelson, who took care of all our needs. The building has been in the family for many years and they care about it. "Owner was the most hospitable. Place itself was clean, stocked up with basic things, and locationally was great as it as walkable to the train station. The only thing to note is that the rooms aren’t very sound proof, but we had no issues with noise during our stay. "

"Host was very nice and helpful. We had a quick and easy check-in and it was so easy to communicate with the host. She also sent me recommendations for restaurants, attractions,... Room was clean and location is not super central but Rome is a big city so it was not very hard to explore. The things that we did not like much was that it was a very tiny room and bed was not comfy. Also, we found it too expensive for what we got."
