"A lovely quiet restful place to stay"

"This is a small cottage behind the main house in my favorite Berkeley neighborhood (walk to the movie theater, bakeries, coffee shops, grocery store). I liked the radiant heating and warm floor in the winter, comfortable bed with great linens, and lots of light yet private. It's no longer new, and some of the furnishing is showing its age, but I found the place very comfortable. Parking in the driveway was great, as parking can be tight in this area. Patty was an excellent host."

It's a small space but very cozy and has all the essentials. Georgina is also the kindest host, easy to communicate with, and made me feel very well cared for during my stay. "The studio cottage was perfect for my month visiting UC Berkeley. It was exactly as described, everything was functional and fresh. It was also a great find and luxury to have our own laundry. It is in a quiet area, yet about a 5 minutes walk from Trader Joes and restaurants. Easy to get around by walking, city bike, and bus. Good walking distance to the university also.
