"We were there for 2 weeks beginning mid January 2025. Weather was hot and sunny every day. Gorgeous beach. Good live music. Only negative was the canned music, not enough Costa Rican music, way too much country music."

"Bosque Del Mar is a beautifully landscaped property. It was lovely to be right on the beach. The bedroom of our suite near the pool included a window wall from which we saw beautiful trees and plants. We felt like we were in the jungle as we walked around the property. The food was excellent and the restaurant has great views. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the small size of the hotel made for a serene and relaxing experience"

"Beautiful Place, on the mountain side of the pacific coast, the main staircase from reception down to the first large pool is incredible. Birds, Monkeys, Iguanas--everywhere. Nice people, friendly service, lots of food and drink options. Beach has wonderful shells at low tide and great swimming. Rent a car for your stay and travel on your own to some of the remote beaches to the North--the roads are rough--but the adventure is something you will remember for the rest of your days. Take two big drives--go to Monte Verde and see the cloud forest--don't forget to drink some coffee in Monte Verde's small town on the way out. Then go to Rincón de la Vieja National Park and see the volcano. Just incredible. VIDA PURA"
