"Staff were very nice, quick check in, the room was quite dark and the a/c unit didn’t work so did get hot without the window open, which presented a bit of a security issue as I was on the ground floor. But overall perfect for my needs, nicely decorated and clean room. "

"Pros: Great location if you’re visiting / doing business in Ampthill. Great food and drinks downstairs. The staff were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Cons: no on premise parking. Closest parking is a municipal lot…10 pounds for 24 hours. When I checked in my room was made up as 2 singles instead of a double as requested. Beds were a tad small & uncomfortable. Walls are thin, I could hear my neighbors “chatting” until midnight the night before I was planning on checking out. Otherwise...

Good stop off on way to Heathrow

"Stayed for one night on way to Heathrow. Parking was straightforward. I have a EV, there were 2 chargers available, BP Pulse. A bit tricky to use as the didn’t take contactless cards, but sorted on BP Website. Lots of other parking available. I think hotel charged £7 overnight for charging. Checkin was fast and friendly. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had nice toiletries. Ate dinner in restaurant, went for noodles with prawns. Nice and tasty but a bit pricey. Breakfast was ok. Cereal, fruit, cooked. Only complaint was not so good for vegetarians / vegans. Veggie sausages would have been good, Checkout was fast and efficient. Would stay again."
