"I stayed at the Jester while I was in the area for business. Bas and his chef Derek bent over backwards to accommodate during what was a very difficult time for them at the tail end of the second lockdown. With no other staff to support them, and making preparations for the reopening, they still found time to make sure I had access to evening meals and breakfast, despite the fact they had no reason to open the kitchen, just to serve me. Good stop off on way to Heathrow

"Stayed for one night on way to Heathrow. Parking was straightforward. I have a EV, there were 2 chargers available, BP Pulse. A bit tricky to use as the didn’t take contactless cards, but sorted on BP Website. Lots of other parking available. I think hotel charged £7 overnight for charging. Checkin was fast and friendly. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had nice toiletries. Ate dinner in restaurant, went for noodles with prawns. Nice and tasty but a bit pricey. Breakfast was ok. Cereal, fruit, cooked. Only complaint was not so good for vegetarians / vegans. Veggie sausages would have been good, Checkout was fast and efficient. Would stay again."
