"I wanted a place where my family could spend time together and enjoy all that the beach has to offer, and this place did not disappoint. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood near Pirates Cove, this beautiful home was the perfect place for 7 adults and 2 Yorkie Poos to hang out, enjoying the sun and lots of great conversation on the huge deck. When we wanted to stretch our legs, or enjoy the surf and sand, all we had to do was pack up and walk a block to the beach, where most of the time there were so few people there, we felt like we owned it. The house is probably one of the most well equipped houses I've stayed at. The kitchen is well appointed. There were extra towels and bedding, as well as numerous games, and a shed with beach umbrellas, boogie boards, and a wagon. The host, Pablo, was very communicative before and during our stay, and check in was again, one of the smoothest I've experienced. We did have an issue with the sliding door in the bathroom locking up on us a couple of times, and he was very responsive and helpful in solving the problem. The only complaint I have is that in the pretrial communication, there was a list of items not supplied that included toilet tissues, paper towels, soap, trash bags... so I was sure to bring those. Yet, when we arrived, all of those things were there. Not a biggie, but it did mean our car was packed to the gills. In the end, ALL of us looked at each other and said, we have to come back; and, we will. What a great weekend!"

"Came all the way from Nebraska to see an Mavs game then Galveston beach. Our stay was pretty much flawless. Host is extremely easy to work with, welcome packet gives you all the info you need, property is stunning and the private beach couldn’t be more perfect. We are in awe of this area and we loved the little seaside restaurants we tried. Dollar general is 2 minutes away to pickup whatever you need for your stay which is convenient. Our kids were begging to stay longer. Hopefully we can come back someday!"

"We had booked a property through Beach Box Vacation Rentals. On morning two, there were rat droppings in the kitchen and living room. We left with no assistance at all from Beach Box and were forced to navigate finding alternate accommodations, on our own, with no refund for unused nights. I contacted the host for this rental and explained the situation at 10PM. We were immediately booked and the host was able to allow us in immediately. This is a great location, close the beach and is well stocked with supplies. From the kitchen, to the beach toys, we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much for relieving some of the stress from our vacation!"

"This place has plenty of bed and deck space for a big group, including a pool. (We didn't use the pool, but might have in different weather.) It was a comfortable stay. We left some items when we checked out and they were very responsive and able to get them back to us quickly. Highly recommend. "
