"This is a really quiet couples and family location. The balcony is huge and especially the top floor, really private with sun beds. Very nice cafe on site, with a really healthy breakfast option. Its a really good location as a base to hire a car and see the rest of the island. Really nice village/ beach location near by. Los medano is just one. "Excellent value - very clean, comfortable and friendly, with all facilities you could need. It is a walk from the main town centre, and the hill is steep, so need to be mobile, or happy to use taxis. But the walk is worth it as the location is peaceful. "Very good all rounder. Food was not as good for early week and better later in the week for dinner. The doors to the balcony rattle at night, keeping people awake. The staff are great though, very likeable. Good gym but a bit far from the main hotel. Overall, really enjoyed my stay with the beautiful views, old style music and overall great atmosphere. "

"The hotel had a lovely view of the volcano and the mountains, but it was quite a long walk away from high street down a steep hill. It wasn’t a problem to do the walk a couple of times, but definitely not every day. "Room was tidy. Mattresses are firm. No car parking on site, but only a 5 min walk to a car park. Staff were friendly. Wifi didn’t work at all for 9 nights. When showering, make sure the front power switch is on or the water won’t heat up. The location is perfect. Township right at your door. "

Fantastic

"The house is just as described.. better. Elizabeth has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible with helpful condiments and toiletries. The garden is just as the photos. We came to relax and did just that, we stayed at the house doing very little for a number of days we were there which was perfect. The house is a long way from anywhere with very steep roads to access it, my only tip would be to have a flight that arrives in daylight. Negotiating the roads in a hire car after a day travelling was challenging!"

Review of Home2Book Cozy Apt near the seaside

"Unfortunately the electronic link to access the apartment did not work, and the staff at Home2Book were unable to remotely let me in. This meant I was stood outside for almost an hour trying to get in. Accessing the actual apartment (once I had gained entry through asking a neighbour to buzz me in) was another problem, and I had to suggest to the hosts to ask the cleaner to come and let me in. It's a very nice apartment, but it wasn't very clean. Also, I asked for a second towel as there was only a small towel, and one bath towel. There is no provision for a towel to use at the pool or beach. Induction hob - I've never used one before, and had to ask some friends in the UK to help me with instructions. There are no manuals on how to use the induction hob or the washing machine. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty. This review is meant for the hosts, and I don't intend it to be viewed publicly."

House in Guimar

"It was a nice place with a swimming pool outside, huge kitchen - with all the facilities - very convenient, and place for sleeping. We had whole area only for us - so it was a big big advantage, and we were resting there really nice. The contact with manager was quick. I would recommend this property and will go there for sure with my family again."

Puertito de Guimar

"We had a super three weeks in this apartment which was very conveniently located for the beach, restaurants, shops and bus stop which were all within 10 minutes walk away. Puertito is a quiet, untouristy town which doesn’t get many foreign tourists. We used the local buses to get around and they are excellent. We had to buy a fan for the second, very small bedroom as it was too hot and noisy otherwise. The roof terrace was a welcome retreat."
