"We really loved our stay at the lost iguana hotel. It’s a little bit further from the town about 35 minutes so keep that in mind if you want to be closer to downtown. It was a smaller resort overall but the grounds were stunning! "

"The property was beautiful. We stayed in the Family unit, which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a living area and full kitchen. Lots of space for our older kids (24 & 16). Coatis and wild pigs were regular visitors, and the location was super convenient to Mistico. Breakfast was at another property, which was a very short drive down the hill. Easy to get to and the staff there were also very friendly. The main downside for the unit was that the dryer wasn't working, but the staff were helpful in drying it for us when we took it up to the desk. "

"Excellent location and cabins. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side with a week full of rain, so we didn’t get the volcano view we were hoping to experience when we booked this specific place. Daybur was especially so wonderful and excellent in providing information on surrounding areas and answering our questions about different activities and recommendations. "

"As a solo traveler, I was welcomed and my needs were met from the very beginning. The owner, Juan, joined me for dinner the first night, which was welcomed and resulted in a very interesting conversation. The bungalow I was assigned was very comfortable. The farm tour is not to be missed. The included three meals per day were tasty and satisfying. The rancho and its facilities are well thought out, efficient, and highly sustainable. Truly a remarkable experience. Highly recommended (don't forget to bring and apply bug spray)."
