"We had an absolutely fabulous one night stay at the Cottage Lea's Country Hotel. The location is perfect - secluded and quiet, with beautiful scenery and delightful, well maintained gardens which had plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, as well as relaxing seating in the lounge area. Our room was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable - the bed made it difficult to get out of! Becky and Lottie were absolutely perfect hosts - friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. We booked dinner, and so glad we did - it was honestly one of the best meals we have ever eaten - from the black pudding stack and garlic creamy mushrooms (OMG!!!) to the crunchiest, butteriest crumble I've ever had in my life, made with apples from their own tree..... I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone, and would highly recommend dining there too. Thank you so much!"
