"Very easy to find given the directions from the hosts. We received a very warm welcome from Richard who explained everything we could possibly need for our stay. Bramwood was very clean and had all the amenities we needed plus more. The location is superb everything in Pickering is just a few minutes walk away, just one minute to the high street. The room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with excellent local produce cooked beautifully by Helene. We can thoroughly recommend staying at The Bramwood, we will definitely be back very soon."

"We booked in Cawthorne House on the back of the reviews. And we were not disappointed Pascal is definitely the host with the most! A complimentary glass of fizz and canapes on arrival was a lovely touch. Especially after the long drive up. We had a walk into town for our evening meal, after reading some of the recommendations.. it's a nice easy walk with plenty of establishments to choose from. Breakfast was pre order and was absolutely delicious, we tried two different options on both days, the avocado on homemade sour dough was outstanding.. A lovely 2 day break.. icing on the cake was a ride on the Sir Nigel Gresley train.. "

"Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life."
