"There’s no question it’s a beautiful home overlooking Lake Como, with a charm that is remjniscent of something out of a Harry Potter novel. Unfortunately, the home itself self has a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Lightbulbs were burned out in master bathroom, the door handle on the washing machine was broken, certain shutters didn’t work, there is no air conditioning in any room and some of the wiring is unlikely to be up to code, although I dont know that for sure. "Such a lovely Villa and a helpful property manager. If you're looking for a unique experience and a beautiful get away then this is your place! Amazing view of Bellagio just across the water on Lago Como. Downtown Varenna is just a short 10 minute drive from the Villa but it feels remote and with the Villa being right on the waterfront, the sounds of the water lapping on the rocks below can lull you to sleep at night. I would recommend this property to anyone who has a small to medium sized...
