"Beautiful outdoor space. Rooms were comfortable enough but not terribly clean. Without a car this would not be a good location to stay as its not very walkable. Not much around. We enjoyed our time enough and its only 10-20 minute drive to a lot of good places to eat and sights. Staff is very nice and did our laundry one day for us. I personally loved the chickens running wild but the rooster might bother some people. "

"The hotel is quite a long distance from Bangkok, but for a couple of nights it is worth a visit (and the 2-3 hour drive across from Bangkok). The setting on the river is beautiful. We have one of the rooms with the kayaks, and these are easily accessible/ readily available. The only drawbacks were that there really is nothing to do in the local area, and to get into the town centre the only option is to use the hotel's taxi service (no other local services or Grab options available). "Nice accommodation in the very middle of the kanchanaburi ‘Strip’, lovely riverside setting and friendly staff. Taxis available outside pretty much 24/7 with both the bus and train station a short 5 minute taxi away. Only problem was there is next to no noise insulation so you can hear next door very easily and on the weekend when we stayed on friday and saturday there is VERY loud music from 16:00-12:30 which the bass shakes the rooms. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay! "
