"The property is okay; we stayed for one night and there were three of us. No toiletries and no heated shower. Staff provided kettle for hot water that one can add in the pail to be mixed with cold water. A basic breakfast was provided. The road leading to the property was under construction so our driver had to go around to get to the property’s parking lot. It is walkable to Calle Crisologo for fit walkers. "

"A nice place to stay and close walking distance to the ocean and restaurants. A 10 minute ride to Angel Beach and Lio Beach! The hotel serves breakfast for free. The owner is very polite and will answer all your questions. "

"This is small and gorgeous. If you want to hang out and relax this is the place to be. The staff are fabulous. As soon as we pushed our luggage out of the door of our accommodation staff nearby rushed over to take it for us; they are attentive and very helpful. The pool is cooler than normal Philippines pools - we found this to be better because it was easier to cool down and relax in the heat again. No kids running around was a big bonus. "I only stayed one night in Areca B&B so I had limited experience. The room I got didn't look like the pictures, instead I had a small kitchen and a separate toilet/shower. The toilet room is also really small so might be challenging to sit down if you're really tall/big. It felt like lower standard than what it looks like in the pictures, but I didn't really mind this since I only stayed one night. "The room was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. The hotel does not have an elevator so if you are going to stay upstairs then you will need to haul your luggages up the stairs. I didn’t dine but I don’t think there is dining available. I only stayed for a few hours since our flight was late at night and we need a place to relax before our flight."

"It is one of the best Philippine hotels that I have stayed in, but that means it is still a Philippine hotel. Minor repairs were not done promptly. For instance our shower was broken when we arrived, but they gave us a different room. Sheets and towels were not replaced promptly. Some, all clean, had holes.
