"We love staying at Tailwater when we plan a fly fishing trip. The home is well equipped with special touches as snacks and water. It was rather chilly this weekend and the home was warm and comfortable to come into after a cold day on the water. The location is perfect for anyone visiting the area and especially anyone wanting easy access to fish the White River. "

The only drawback was the half bath toilet hadn’t been flushed and the floors were dirty looked like dog hair but there are not supposed to be pets so not sure what all that hair was. "It was a beautiful place. Perfect location; just a few steps from the river. Had one problem and the owner was on top of it quickly and was resolved. We saw lots of eagles, too. Beautiful place and quiet and peaceful. Never stayed in a VRBO that was so well-stocked. Highly recommend this place if you like peaceful, beautiful settings and very hospital hosts. "

The neighbor on the north side of the property obviously does not like vrbo, and displays offensive signs and flags in a transparent attempt to promote negative reviews. They were not a problem, however, and did not affect my enjoyment. I would stay there again. "

There are 2 bedrooms that show 2 beds in each which is technically accurate but the rooms are extremely small especially when trying to use the beds. The other limitations are the 2 pullout couches in the basement cannot both be used at the same time as the room is not large enough for that. "I've been staying at this location for the last three years and the dock addition made this year's trip extremely convenient and enjoyable. "We stayed a week, and that view is just incredible. Get up for the sunrise and watch the fog on the water. We saw deer, fish jumping in the lake, an Eagle, Hawk, bunny, woodpeckers and other birds. The silence is so nice. We lucked out on a week of moonlight. The house is good, everything worked, the deck and screened porch are fantastic. We spent 99% of our time out there.
