White River Bank Cabin!Eagle Watching, World Class Trout Fishing Off The Dock,
On the bank of The World Famous White River. Located just a few hundred yards South from the mouth of Crooked Creek and just North of the confluence of the Buffalo National River which makes this location a Trout and Small Mouth Bass Mecca. Large covered deck for entertaining and enjoying the tranquility of the flowing river. Private dock is perfect for fishing, Swimming or just storing your boat for easy access to the river. Perfect location for watching the residence bald eagles as well as other wildlife. Guided fishing trips available. Your personal guide will pick you up and return you to the private dock. Bring on the s'mores and enjoy the large firepit overlooking the river.
A great part of the attraction is the privacy and seclusion. The hideaway is located about fifteen miles from the nearest town. There is a short strip of roadway that is steep and rough, but it will be worth the effort. (A 4 WD is recommended, although many guest use front WD and rear WD sedans with no problem. I don't recomment low-clearance cars or 2WD pickups with not weight). The private dock is in partnership with the neighbor and guest will be expected to share dock privileges with neighbor on occasions.

Kenneth was awesome. Great communication. Brought our Labrador retriever with us after getting Kenneth’s permission. Very quiet and tranquil place. Caught a few trout just south of the dock (wading) in the small rapids. Saw the bald eagle a few times. Suggest KT’s bbq in Gassville for dinner and Cayoons in Mountain home as well. Kitchen adequately stocked with accessories.
Perfect location directly on the white river and close so several professional guide services. Kenneth is a great communicator and very accommodating. Can't wait to come back!
This is the perfect place for some quite relaxation. The road in was gravel but nothing a truck couldn't handle. We were able to enjoy some hiking and fishing was there. Also, the weather was perfect for enjoying the deck during the afternoons.
The cabin is fabulous and the fishing is great! Caught a Nice Brown… Even when the river was flowing at almost max. The host is extremely accommodating and friendly! Great stories too! Loved the claw tub for a nice soak after a cold day! Would definitely recommend for fisherman and their guests!
Vacationed here recently with the family for a quick spring break. Had an absolutely wonderful time, very peaceful, quiet, relaxing and beautiful settings. Kenneth checked in several times making sure everything was going well, great person and we enjoyed the exceptional hospitality. We fished several days with Robert who picked us up at the dock and had no issues catching limits and Robert was great working with my two daughters putting them in fish. Just a great time, great place, we loved it and will be back!
This was a great 3 generation getaway playing games, fishing, bird watching, and hanging out by the river. The property was exactly as described. Kenneth was VERY responsive to any questions before, during and after.
Fishing from the dock was great and kids enjoyed the "cool" water.
The drive out can be a challenge for cars (as described) but well worth it.

Nice cabin
The cabin was very nice with scenic views. The setup is fantastic. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you could need from cooking utensils to in-unit laundry. There is easy access to the water.
However, be cautious when driving to the cabin. The roads are very rough and require 4-wheel drive.
We had a great time. We caught trout everyday we fished! We waded in the water, but it is very cool water! If your looking for lots to do, this area isn’t what your looking for, but if you are like us and want to be to yourself and fish… go for it! The water is clear and the area is beautiful! Everything we expected it to be.
The cabin was very nice. The view from cabin was spectacular. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean. Rail on stairs going down to river needs repair. Steep hill was a little difficult to get up otherwise it was very relaxing and enjoyable. Would consider coming back.
Terrific setting with comfortable cabin and great waterfront access at the private floating boat house! Spectacular view of the river, mountains, & occasional bald eagle from the elevated covered back deck. Can catch fish right off the property and had our guide meet us at the boathouse. The owner is very responsive to your needs and has lots of interesting local history & stories to tell. Our second, of many more visits to come. Thanks again Kenneth!
We had a super good time on the White River. My husband caught a really nice Brown Trout upon arrival. The place was spotless!! It does take a 4x4 and Kenneth was very upfront about that. Front wheel drive will work too. Great get-a-way. It needs a cutting board and the upstairs king bed needs a mattress, but that is the only thing missing. We had such a great time. Three couples between 49 and 65 and it had everything. Loved it.
2021 Goldwing, two 1300 vtx, and a Kawasaki Vulcan rode in and out for 5 days…it was fun as hell. But if you don’t ride on gravel or boulders and trees...than I wouldn’t attempt this on a your bike. The river is beautiful and so peaceful. Very nice place, cold a/c. I ride with my boys. They will never forget this trip. The neighbors would come out to watch us climb the mountain trail on our street and touring bikes.
This property has a great view of the White River. The host or manager will be adament with you about needing an awd or 4wd to access this property. Don't write him off he knows what he is talking about. This is a beautiful house with a million dollar view. However much like any house they tend to have their quirks. The down stairs half bathroom lacked a certain level of privacy (a door) . The kitchen sink doesn't drain properly it held a half a sink full of water for an extended period of time. As for the firepit and fireplace the first thing i notice was that there was a paper requesting funds for firewood used if this is labeled as an amenitie i dont feel like there should be a fee placed on firewood as you would need one to contribute to the use of this amenite. The reason i docked on the description was do to amenites that were nor present. When i first initally booked this BnB it was heavily discussed bringing our childen and the ad says there is a play area with a playground had we brought children and there was nowhere for them to play it would not have been the best of ideas. However we didnt bring our kids but certainly decided that this is the one we wanted based off of the fact that it had a hot tub and the six adults that went would of really enjoyed it after a long day of floating on the buffalo. However even though the ad (did) state it was an amenitie there was not. And it was quickly removed all in all we would stay here again.
The house is as advertised. The spacious deck and windows provide a great view of the river. The boat dock gives excellent access and is a great place to read, fish, or anything else. Very peaceful. Fire pit was great at night with plenty of scrap wood provided for a nice fire.
A few small issues that need to be known ahead of time. First the difficult drive in and out could be an issue. It was no challenge for my 4-wheel drive truck, even after torrential rains. But my daughter's smaller crossover with 2-wheel drive slipped and struggled up the VERY steep and VERY narrow road. A normal, low riding small car could not have made it out after the bad weather, in my estimate. If you plan to come and go a lot, the drive in and out is slow and tedious. As for the house, two of the four "bedrooms" are open lofts with zero privacy. A very narrow spiral stair case is the only access, and getting luggage up and down is a struggle. Would be nervous if elderly or very young people had to navigate the spiral stairs. Last minor criticism, only one shower for four bedrooms. We had six adults in our party and had to schedule showers among ourselves. A very nice bathtub is a the top of the spiral stairs, but nobody in our group wanted a bath after being outdoors all day. We had a good experience but would hesitate to return only because of the treacherous trips in and out. I read all the reviews about the road but it is worse than advertised.
Everything was great. If I had any suggestions it would be to get rid of little tree that blocks view of river and replace propane grill with larger charcoal grill. Otherwise was a great experience and I can’t say enough about the privacy!
We were 7 hours into our 12 hour drive to Flippin, our host texted us about flooding in the mountains.
Called host for details, no answer
We turned around for home
Host texts back 3 hours later with check in data
This was the worst vacation experience we've had in 50 years of travel
No refunds
The property was everything we were looking for. Great river location and the private road keeps the traffic noise to a minimum. The cabin was large enough to accommodate 8 adults and 1 child with ease. We would rent this property again for sure.

Beautiful views of the White River. Definitely best if you have 4WD as the last 1/2 mile of dirt roads had some good sized ruts and steep inclines and declines. While the cabin was cozy and had all we needed, we were a little surprised that all 4 bedrooms did NOT have walls. The two bedrooms upstairs (1 King 1 Queen) had a shared bathroom with a sink, toilet and clawfoot tub. The two downstairs bedrooms (1 King 1 Queen) had private sink & toilet areas and there was a full bath downstairs to share. So, 1 shower for the 8 of us to share and the two couples who slept upstairs were a bit disappointed there was not much privacy. There also are 2 total Kings and 2 total queen beds and they are a little dated and sag toward the middle a bit. We did get to do some fishing off the dock and the river was super nice to view feel a breeze off of. About a one hour drive to Tyler's Bend if you are staying here to float the Buffalo. While a nice cabin, it needs a few upgrades to the beds and more detail in the description so everyone knows what to expect.
