"The Clayton Hotel is a lovely hotel right on the river in Glasgow. Everyone I came in contact with was incredibly helpful. We were experiencing a severe windstorm in Glasgow which affected my business there. The staff gave me a space where I could meet with my customer, and all went well due to their help for which I am sincerely grateful. Highly recommend. "

"Booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. Grest price and great location. Check in was easy and quick. Got to the room to find only 1 bed, despite the booking being for 2 adults and 1 child. Back down to reception to ask if a single bed could be set up to be met by quite possibly the most abrupt and rude person this hotel employs. "The stay is always great here, staff are particularly lovely. The fan in the bathroom did make noise all night though. You couldn't hear it through the closed door but it seemed to be running even with the light off. Everything else was perfect. "

Hotel & restaurant are different companies, Restaurant menu is quite small as it’s a small hotel tucked out of the way, but the food is really good quality for the price & it’s not too far to Stirling or Alva if you are staying for a long stay as we were, if you wanted to try something else. The hotel front of house staff/bar staff are very friendly & pleasant "

"Fantastic location! Right in heart of Glasgow’s west end with a huge selection of bars, restaurants etc on doorstep. Subway 5 mins walk away to get to city centre etc. Botanic Gardens a 5 min walk away too. Loads to do in around area such as Art Galleries. This is a great area in Glasgow and highly recommend. Only 2 small downfalls with flat is it could do with some more glasses in kitchen and bigger ones and some brighter lighting in rooms as ground floor flat and not enough natural light...
