"A beautiful Hotel in a beautiful town. The location of the Baia offers breathtaking views of the bay, harbour and beach. Behind the hotel sits the town with some amazing restaurants and plenty of bars. The Baia Hotel and Cacais are both certainly somewhere I highly recommend. "

"Be aware that this property is on a street where you would need to drag your bags along bumpy terrain. Ubers do not have access to their front entrance. The hotel was clean, offers water and coffee complimentary. However if your room is situated on the J or K side it is super noisy at night. Like an evening gathering with music and loud chatting ending usually after midnight. Close to many restaurants and sights and very walkable. Staff were efficient, but would not say friendly. "

"The hotel itself is newer and clean etc. My room was spacious and quiet etc. Staff could be a little more friendly and breakfast could have a wider variety of options. The immediate area is a little sketchy but nobody bothered me. Just be alert. There are several good restaurants nearby and the better areas of town are very near by too. Within walking distance. Kossies coffee shop is excellent and just down the hill 50 feet away. The area should improve over time and this hotel is...
