"A beautiful and lovely property. Lots of construction nearby but the hotel was up front and accommodating - didnt create any major disruption to our stay. It’s in a very walkable location but is secluded from some of the craziness of downtown Tamarindo which is nice. Highly recommend! "

"Shannon was an excellent host. Nice breakfast each morning sat above the pool area. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with daily maid service. A few minutes walk to the lively town and beach where all the action of Tamarindo is going on. The pool was great to cool down and relax in the hammocks and day beds under the shade. The bungalows are an excellent small, homely oasis to chill out and escape the corporate world. We would stay again with Shannon and her lovely staff. "

"The hosts were on property, friendly, kind. The room was spacious, modern, clean. Breakfast was available when we wanted it. Swimming pool was lovely. Iguanas, birds and fauna were a bonus! Would absolutely return!"

"We stayed here for two nights at the end of a 10-day trip to Costa Rica for surfing and relaxation. This place was perfect! Quaint, quiet and so friendly. The pool was small but clean and was all we needed. The rooms were simple yet clean and again, all we needed! We were also only a 3-minute walk to the beach. The best part was that after my surf lesson the day before we left, I wanted more. So I asked Elmer, the owner and also a surf instructor, very last minute, if he would take me surfing...

"Good communication by email but no one one site to greet or direct. Keypad entry worked well as did the AC. Steep road going up to the B&B. Pool is merely decorative. Comfortable bed, big bathroom area. Good breakfast."

"Great small place to get away. Close to beach but will need to drive to get anywhere else. The on-site chef is AMAZING! Best 2 and 3 meals we ate while all over in CR for 2 weeks. Only downside is no A/C which made the nights a bit less comfortable in high summer."

"The Casa Nahua is a little gem in Tamarindo. The room was fairly small, but clean and arranged sensibly. The bathroom was definitely recently updated and had a modern feel. Nice shower with shampoo and conditioner, both! And shower gel. The room has a smart TV so you can watch whatever streaming services you want to. The only downside to the room was that the fridge did not seal fully so it didn't cool its contents as well as it should have and we had to buy ice at the very nearby grocery...

"We loved staying here! The view to the beach was so beautiful and so easy to get to. The resort itself offered all the things. Main dining room was great and the staff was soooo nice! My husband hurt his foot pretty bad in the ocean and the staff let us borrow the crutches they had and told us where a pharmacy to get other supplies we needed. The only hard part was staying on the ocean front view room at night - the ocean was sooo loud and would wake us up every night due to the big waves crashing. We even use white noise and still got woken up. Other then that we loved our stay and would stay there again!!"

"There were very few parking spots, and you needed to slide a heavy gate open and shut as you drove or walked on and off the property. However, a small inconvenience. The rooms were pleasantly updated and lovely. We really enjoyed out stay there."
