"This is a wonderful boutique hotel perfectly situated for a stay in beautiful Bergamo's Citta Alta. We were greeted so warmly - the managers and staff are all smiles all the time! - and welcomed with a glass of lovely local White and a charcuterie board, while we watched the tiny funicular which goes up to the highest point of the town. "Check-in experience was terrible because I had to wait outside with my bags for half an hour even though I kept the manager of the place updated about my changing ETA. And by the way he assumes that you can make a local call so he knows what time to arrive to his part-time job of managing the place and checking guests in. He is a decent guy otherwise, but the place also has a bit dirty floors and could use more punctual management. Also the beds are really squeaky so good sleep not guaranteed....
