"Booked week before stay for a family memorial in the area. Night before expected arrival I was put on evacuation alert - though I knew reservation was non-refundable - I called admin immediately & they were so kind! Sent me assurance that I would not be charged under the circumstances if I had to cancel. Luckily, I was able to come—with precious items packed in my car in case of my home needing evacuation while I was gone (it did not, thank goodness). They arranged (-for 35 fee) to arrive...

"Very unique. Spacious and clean. Remarkably a lot in the home was vintage and equally remarkable was the artwork - presumably some of it by local artists. Unique by the architecture and the fact that the space was private while also having access to the pool / hot tub, washer / dryer and game room / library. I suppose the common area during busy season could carry some noise into the private patios - but everyone was respectful while we were there. Bonus was being close to the tram that took us...
