"Everything was fantastic! Buffets were great with a great selection, pool area vibrant with lots of people. If you’re worried about getting chairs, either get up early or they have extras behind the shed on the far side. One of the attendants will get one for you. Food in specialty restaurants was also good. Within walking distance of small shops and bars if you want a retreat from the resort. Only downside was a few days several elevators were not working, but otherwise a great place! Construction next door cannot be heard at the pool."

"Wow. Our stay at the ritz was beyond amazing. We stayed for 6 nights and 7 days with our two boys, 5 and 8. We often had the pool to ourselves and it was exceptionally clean. The beach outside the hotel was also exceptionally clean and perfect. Not at all crowded and always tons of chair and umbrella options. Every single staff member was kind, professional, and helpful. We ate lunch at the restaurant every day and sat next to the pool so the boys could swim during lunch. Worth every single penny spent. I will say, if you are looking for kids entertainment and activities, then find a different place. This is a high end place that is intended for luxury and relaxation. "

"Just returned from a 7 day stay and could not have been happier. Resort is beautiful and very well maintained. Beach and three pools are gorgeous. Dinner at Ruinas Del Mar was excellent. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculate. Be sure to reserve your palapa four months in advance, as we did, if you want front row views; it’s well worth it. We also rented a Trankilo one day at the adults-only pool and it was amazing. Short walk to the plaza and restaurants. We’ve stayed at the Hilton twice before, and while we enjoyed staying there, the Hyatt is much nicer. We’re already planning a return trip here in December. Highly recommended!"
