"I like the fact that unlike the other large resorts on the island there is room on the beach, under a shady palapa you can reserve (for around $50/day). Other resorts like Marriott have beach lounge chairs all right next to each other. Will this change with the new Hilton building going up on the property and turn the beach into a crowded space ? Hope not. "

"This modest apartment is well situated and in a quiet neighborhood (some issue with the dogs barking but it didn’t cause any problems). It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the “strip” where all the restaurants and boutiques are. It has the basic necessities of an apartment and Marlon was very helpful and welcoming. Aruba is a VERY expensive island. (For ex: it costs $40US to rent a beach umbrella for the day and $10 per chair! Grocery stores nearby are also very expensive)....
