"We had a great stay at the Renaissance hotel in Aruba. The staff were friendly and patient, luxury shopping literally below the hotel and plenty of local eateries within walking distance. And they have a free water taxi to the flamingo island which normally would cost $100 for people who aren’t staying at the hotel. The hotel has an adult part and a kid friendly part. "Very lovely hotel. We enjoyed our suite, and having a small kitchen was a great convenience . Very clean and spacious and comfortable. The basic staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar staff was not accommodating at both their bar locations. Bar staff standing around ignoring customers. They offer good smoothies at the beach bar, but it takes awhile .
