"Hotel was within walking distance of ADO bus terminal. Near main plaza, lots of places to eat. Clean place, staff very helpful and nice little breakfast . Easy on your budget too. December celebrations were starting in this happy town. Recommend "

"Mixed review: Very nice and helpful staff. There is very little to do in the center of Palenque. If staying again, I would stay at one of the nice hotels on the road out to the ruins. There was only one outlet in the room for all o fly devices. The room was old and definitely not sound proof with windows that let noise in. I could hear everything going on in the main plaza nearby, including the band and military recognition that started at 7 am one morning."

"This hotel offers basic accommodation, with a pretty roof garden, at a good price, but nothing more. That's fine, but travelers should be aware of a few things: 1. The hotel only accepts cash. Make sure that you have sufficient Mexican currency to pay for your entire stay at check-in. 2. The front door is kept locked at all times from the outside (a pain in the neck) and the inside (a fire hazard). The receptionist unlocks it for you -- if someone is at the reception desk, which is not...
