"The service at Parklands is exceptional. I particularly loved the 'cooked to order' breakfast and the spa. The hydro pool is the best I have ever used and the swimming pool is above average size. Could do with a fridge in the rooms. Room tip: In the upgraded rooms there is a super deep bath which was great. "

A warm welcome from reception staff, lodge is well equipped, very clean and in a very quiet area with parking next to the lodge. "Avril offered us a real bed and breakfast experience, meaning we felt like we were invited to stay the night in her home. We had a long interesting chat in the morning. If people want more of a "quick-and-easy" hotel experience, perhaps this is not the place for you. The room was beautiful with view on the sea, the house was very nice: we felt like the time had stopped for a bit which is exactly what we were looking for. Many thanks Avril for making our stay so enjoyable. "
