The views in three directions where of the beautiful Matauwhi Bay with picturesque boats anchored all the way around. The interior of the manor felt like we were staying in Downton Abbey. "An older facility but well maintained. Comfortable bed and nice place to stay. Very tight parking especially for medium sized cars. Very close and convenient to shops and ferries."

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good location facing the beach, easily walkable to Paihia town and wharf, also Whitangi Treaty Grounds. On the downside, some noise from the petrol station adjacent to the property. The room was well-equipped, and daily room servicing was excellent. However, the room fixtures and fittings e.g. wooden tables, chairs, kitchen units, bathroom sink, shower unit are showing their age, scuffed and looking well-worn. "The staff at the motel were so helpful, we were running late and the reception was kept open for us which we really appreciated. The room was clean and the facilities ideal for the short stay we had there. The motel is within walking distance to all the amenities in the small town "
