"River Views Lavender Farm was an exceptional place to stay! Upon arrival we were greeted by 3 very happy and friendly dogs! The room was very comfortable and met all our needs. We opened up the windows and enjoyed listening to the sound of the river below and admiring the beauty all around. There was an issue with the internet connection not working, we were in communication with our host often and the issue was resolved in a timely manner. "I love this property. I came for a return visit, so I knew what to expect. We enjoyed wine by the firepit each night. Thank you! The accommodations are quaint yet top notch. The host family is generous, communicative and accommodating and also respectful of the privacy that we wanted. I book well in advance to make sure I get the date I want to see the Fall colors--there is nowhere better to do this! Thank you!! "

"My friends and I had an excellent stay at this property, it was the perfect size for 3 adults and very quaint and private. I will say that the listing says that it is 8.8 miles from Leesburg VA (which is where my friends and I were visiting) but that is not entirely accurate- there IS a ferry you can take across that maybe makes that number true but if you are an out of towner and are planning on just driving GPS style it ACTUALLY takes about 25-30 minutes to drive into town. "This property could not have been more quaint and peaceful. My husband, two dogs and I enjoyed the long weekend, walking the trails and taking in the history of Harper’s Ferry. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. The location could not be better for seeing the town on foot. The property was clean and so neatly appointed. "I liked everything about this property. From the front door - valet parking; even though we didn’t use it, the valet workers still came to the car to assist us with our belongings. We received a smile and welcome from everyone! The reception staff were excellent. They took the time to explain the ginormous grounds, dinner, spa, store, etc. Our room was comfy-cozy and clean. Although there was a golf course, tennis court, clubhouse, movie theater, and various other activities, we chose a couples massage. And, oh, we were in for a treat! The halls were decorated for Christmas and the ambiance was glowing. We will definitely return here for another amazing relaxing weekend. We booked and stayed in a king size room. And we had a view of the golf course. It was clean and the bed was comfy. The coffee maker was top notch. It served Lavazza! We had a fridge but no microwave. But that was ok for our stay. If i had a longer stay i would have wanted a microwave as the last room service for food is 10 pm. I cannot rave enough about the staff and how accommodating they were. Customer service/care always makes or breaks your stay and it made ours!!!"
