"This place was amazing. Despite being a smaller older motel, the furnishing were modern and the room very clean. We like staying at motels as rest stops on road trips. They all have their unique character and style. And the Lord Nelson did not disappoint. Pulling up to it brought back wonderful memories from 40 years ago of the road trips I took with my parents. "This hotel is quite good at being average. The rooms are clean as is the main areas. Beds are comfortable and rooms are well maintained. The areas of concern are the noise in the hallways, the smells (perhaps from cooking) and overall this is an older hotel that fits in the budget friendly category."
