"This was a magnificent place! Beautiful. Hosts are a wonderful family that invited us into their home. Amazing pool. Make sure to enter from the city. Google took us the long way in on a very tight, windy road. Avoid that. "

"A great property in a great walking city - close to everything. A great jumping off place for day trips in Lazio like Bolsena and Orvieto. Also, the Porta Romana train station is a 6 minute walk - from there you have access to all of Italy. Many excellent restaurants are within a six minute walk - there’s even a great Italian steakhouse, Lo Spito, 50 feet from the condo. The place is a real gem."

"We had an amazing 2 weeks here and enjoyed the property very much, we had an issue with the fridge after a few days but the owner sorted this within a day, very impressed with the responsiveness. The walk into Lubriano took just over 5 minutes and the restaurants and Cafe/Bars are lovely."

"Spent 10 days at the villa in late August '24. The weather was excellent and the location + pool was perfect for our family. The villa is well appointed with all mod cons but the boiler did break leaving us without hot water for 24 hours. No drama and the owners responded as quickly as possible to resolve this. "The house was just as pictured. The only surprise was having to meet someone in town to follow them to the house. Driveway was a challenge, but once we got used to it, it was easy to find. Guido had the pool ready for us earlier than he had planned. And we certainly enjoyed it. The views are stunning and the sunsets are incredible. Our goal was to centrally locate and then visit all the surrounding areas of Umbria, CC Perugia, Orvietto, Cortona, And many more. This was the perfect location....

"We arrived in Macerino after our drive from Rome to be greeted by our hosts Maria and Franco in the square of the village. They warmly welcomed us and showed us to the property which was around the corner from the square. We immediately recognised it from the photos. "Wonderful house in a beautiful medieval village up in the mountains. We stayed 9 nights and had a very relaxing experience. Excellent facilities with a large terrace offering terrific views of the area. Our host Maria was very helpful and at our disposal. There are some challenging mountain roads to come and go on but the reward of this house is worth the effort. We highly recommend staying here!"
