"This hotel is only 15 minutes from the Oberwiesenthal ski area. The facilities are spacious, modern and very clean. Lots of parking too. l was hesitant to book a single room because there were no photos on the listing, but this turned out to be the most comfortable single room ever. It was large, there were three floor-to-ceiling windows, balcony, sofa, large bathroom with massage jets. Excellent to say the least. Breakfast choices were extensive. "A place to feel at home! The breakfast is extraordinary with a huge variety and very friendly staff. We liked the possibility to sit and have a coffee or cocktail around the bar area with comfortable sofas and daylight. You should try the homemade "Waldschlösschen" cake! Delicious! We will definitely stay at the Parkhotel again, when we are around next time."

"Upon arriving and informing the front desk I was there to check in I was simply told ‘no’. When I explained I had a reservation through Expedia the lady checked and proceeded to check me in but continued complaining about it. Hardly welcoming.
