"Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and perfect location. For those that want a small town feel…Amsterdam is NOT the place to be. It’s a major city with traffic, noise, trash, construction and people having fun all night. But the Dikker is situated to take it all in…close to the Museum district, great food and shopping and perfect access to the canal boats or strolling up to the Jordan district. The room we had was very clean, the bed very comfortable and a great bathroom. The Staff were amazingly attentive and had advise on anything you wanted to do. Would stay there again in a heart beat. "

They were very welcoming and assisted me with everything l needed and provided additional detail about the surrounding things to do around the hotel. There wasn't anything l didn't like. "A very well placed hotel with great amenities. The pizza machine was fascinating. Sadly, one of the bar staff (male) was quite condescending to one of the newer female bar staff. She was doing a good job given she was only 3 days in, he wasn’t very polite to her, it was a shame to see. "
