"It's like sitting in the wilderness but right there in your face. All the wildlife around you that doesn't care you are there. Had a very close visit by an osprey, bald eagle and lots of turkey vultures. Daisy duck will certainly keep you entertained. The place is tiny and hard to maneuver for an ADA with a rolling walker, but my wife got used to it. The write up said, kitchen, then later said kitchenette. There was no stove! River not as close as expected, but a short drive to a number of state parks offering boating and hiking which is why we were there. Steep stairs to second floor bedrooms. Would stay again. "

"Conveniently located within Sea Hag strip 1-2 min from Sea Hag Marina the Cozy Cottage was a sweet little spot. The layout of the cottage is a perfect. A comfortable stay after a long day out on the water. Located in Steinhatchee Landing Village, a safe and quaint retreat, it’s the perfect place to rent a golf cart and be within 5min of everything you need or local entertainment and food. Awesome experience, affordable, highly recommended! "

"We stayed here for our annual scalloping trip to Steinhatchee. The house is located in a good neighborhood, nice to see that they maybe cleaning up the one junky lot on the street. The street was quiet and no loud party house nearby. Quick 5min drive to ramp, marina and restaurants. House is very well stocked with linens/towelse. Our small family was very comfortable."

"Before we had checked in Cherri had emailed us with instructions and told us to call with any questions . The house was very clean. Loved the beach theme. The kids loved the bunk beds. The owner was very kind and left lots of snacks.This was a plus as the closest Walmart was about 30 min. Also wine was provided which I would have indulged in if the kids were not around. The waterfront is not big but the kids were able to kayak for the first time and also was able to catch their first fish....
