"The getaway cottage was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect size for the two of us, and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It was a short walk to the dock. Mike met us at the property for a quick tour, then left us to enjoy their beautiful property. We plan on making a trip back sometime next year."

"At first, we booked the house for August, but storm Debby rolled in can caused the river to flood and the boat ramp to be closed. They were very understanding and worked with us to get a new date on the schedule. We liked how the boat ramp was literally just a couple hundred yards from the house, which made it very easy to get in and out. The house was very nice and the neighborhood was quiet. The house from the outside does not have identification, I arrived at a very dark night, without telephone coverage and we could not locate which house where we would stay. "We had a wonderful stay at this adorable river house. It was supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or deck and watching the boats on the river. "This is a lovely property near Fanning Springs. The owners were responsive & phoned to make sure everything was in order. The home is extremely comfortable, convenient to Hwy 19, location was perfect. I usually stay in Gainesville when traveling to this area to stay in a hotel, and I’m so glad this popped up on Expedia & I found Tranquil Oaks. I’ll be back when in area.
