Great location in the heart of the city. Our only complaint was the temperature of the room at night. We had to open the window because it was so hot. The gym was also very hot and had limited equipment. It had three cardio machines and a set of hand weights (only Up to 10 kg). "

The stall was simply too small, I can’t turn around without turn off or turning the water too hot. It was smaller than the ones on cruise ships. "The location of the East-West Riverside is amazing. Very convenient to many of Basel's tourist areas and has beautiful views of the river. It's clean, and well-kept with modern furnishings and decor. There was a small Christmas market (just food and beverages) right outside the front door of the hotel that we really enjoyed (early December).
